Smart Tax Strategy. Zero Stress.
No-one likes paying tax, but we can ease the pain. At Collective Concepts Accounting, we take the weight off your shoulders and, often, the cost off your bottom line. With sharp thinking, tailored planning, and hands-on support, we’ll make sure you meet every obligation, maximise every allowance, and never overpay.

Whether you're a growing limited company or a high-performing SME, we help you get proactive about tax. No more last-minute scrambling. No more mystery penalties. Just calm, confident compliance and potentially real-world tax savings.
Corporation Tax
We manage the full process for you from preparing your company tax return to submitting it to HMRC, along with any supporting schedules. But we don’t just do the paperwork. We take time to understand your business structure, transactions, and goals so we can identify legitimate ways to reduce your liability.
Our corporation tax service includes:
- Full tax computation & CT600 submission
- Capital allowances & reliefs
- Director remuneration & dividend planning
- Group structures & inter-company tax planning
- Ongoing support for HMRC queries
We work ahead of time, not at the last minute, so you can plan your cash flow and make smart decisions well before payment deadlines.
VAT
VAT can be complicated, especially when you’re growing. New thresholds, flat rate schemes, digital services, international sales - we navigate it all, so you don’t have to.
Our VAT service includes:
- VAT registration and scheme advice
- Quarterly returns and reconciliation
- VAT inspections & risk management
- Advice on complex transactions (land, exports, digital goods)
- Making Tax Digital setup and support
We’ll keep you fully compliant, file everything on time, and help you avoid the costly pitfalls. If there’s a more tax-efficient way to structure your business or reclaim VAT, we’ll find it.
Connected Thinking
Because we handle both your accounts and tax, you get joined-up advice and a full financial picture. That means better planning, better communication, and no missed opportunities.
Need to restructure? Planning a big purchase or sale? Expanding overseas? Our team will show you the tax implications before you act — not after.
How we can help…

We believe good tax planning shouldn’t just keep you compliant, it should move you forward. With us, you’ll pay what you owe, not a penny more — and sleep easier because of it.
FAQs
1. How much Corporation Tax will my company pay?
It depends on your profits. Companies with profits up to £50,000 pay 19%, and those with profits over £250,000 pay 25%. If your profits are in between, you pay a rate somewhere between the two. We work out exactly what you owe, claim every allowance and relief you're entitled to, and look at ways to reduce your bill legitimately.
2. When do I need to pay Corporation Tax and file my return?
Most companies must pay their Corporation Tax nine months and one day after their year end. The CT600 return is due 12 months after the year end. Larger companies pay in instalments during the year. We'll tell you what's coming well in advance so you can plan your cash flow.
3. Can I reduce my Corporation Tax bill?
Often, yes. Capital allowances on equipment, pension contributions, R&D tax relief and planning how you pay yourself can all make a difference. The key is planning before your year end, not after. We review your position during the year, so there's still time to act.
4. Which VAT scheme is right for my business?
Most businesses use standard VAT accounting. Depending on your turnover and how you trade, you might also qualify for the Flat Rate, Cash Accounting or Annual Accounting schemes. The right choice depends on your costs, your customers and how you manage cash flow. We'll compare the options and recommend the one that works best for you.
5. What is Making Tax Digital for VAT?
All VAT-registered businesses must keep digital records and submit their VAT returns using HMRC-compatible software. We can help you choose and set up the right software, and we'll make sure your returns are accurate and filed on time.
