This includes managing the full personal tax return cycle, overseeing complex advisory work, mentoring junior staff, and shaping the future of our tax services.

You will play a crucial role in supporting high‑net‑worth individuals, crypto investors, property clients, and non‑dom/non‑UK tax residents with high‑complexity matters. You will also oversee our R&D advisory offering and manage the tax consulting arm of the business.

The Role

The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the preparation and timely submission of all personal tax returns

  • Preparing and reviewing complex high‑net‑worth tax returns, including those involving:
    – Non‑UK tax residents
    – Non‑dom clients
    – Cryptoasset tax disclosures and returns.
    – Property and share disposals (including CGT)

  • Leading our R&D tax advisory service, ensuring compliance-focused and high‑quality claims.
  •
  • Managing the tax consulting function, delivering strategic advisory work to clients.

  • Providing expert tax advice across personal tax, CGT, residence, domicile, and crypto tax.
  •
  • Reviewing complex computations prepared by junior and mid‑level team members.

  • Leading tax planning projects at both personal and corporate level.
  •
  • Supporting HMRC enquiries, disclosures, and technical queries as required.
  •
  • Actively contributing to leadership discussions and operational decision-making.
  •
  • Mentoring, training, and developing members of the tax and accounting teams.
  •
  • Assisting with onboarding of high‑value clients and attending networking/events as part of the leadership team.

About You

We’re looking for a driven, technically strong Senior Tax Manager who can support the business at a strategic level while maintaining excellent client service.

Ideal experience and attributes include:

  • CTA finalist (or equivalent experience); ACCA/ACA also welcome.

  •  Strong experience managing diverse and complex personal tax portfolios.
  •
  • Demonstrable expertise in crypto tax, CGT, non‑resident and non‑dom rules, and HNW structures.
  •
  • Experience preparing or reviewing R&D claims (or willingness to upskill quickly).
  •
  • Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
  •
  • Proactive approach to workflow management, deadlines, and problem-solving.
  •
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  •
  • Confident working directly with founders, senior stakeholders, and high‑value clients.
  •
  • Experience using modern digital tools and cloud accounting systems.

We are looking for team members who share our core values of collaboration, honesty, and trust. These values guide our approach, ensuring that our relationships—with both clients and colleagues—are founded on mutual respect and long-term success.
